On May 28, 2025, Guillaume de Morsier will give a talk and visit the new West flower exchange in Kerzers, a wooden building that combines architectural innovation and ecological responsibility.

The Blumenbörse has been specially designed to meet the needs of the green sector. In addition to a sustainable construction concept using mainly wood, it offers efficient storage and workspaces, optimized logistics and state-of-the-art energy solutions.

The aim of the SIA Inform program “Holzbau berühren…” is to raise public awareness of timber construction as one of the key solutions for achieving the climate goals of a CO₂-neutral Switzerland by 2050. Using wood in construction offers huge ecological benefits: 1 cubic metre of wood can fix up to 1 tonne of CO₂. By highlighting the advantages of this sustainable construction method, we aim to help steer the building industry towards a more climate-friendly future.
